MORE ABOUT US
StreamStakes was born in a classroom and perfected in a hot tub (true story). We are three USC Marshall graduates who decided to take our rap GOAT debates outside our cockroach-infested frat house and onto the internet.

HOW STREAMSTAKES WORKS
At StreamStakes, transparency is important to us. We want you to understand how to play, how to win, and how we generate revenue.Below is a detailed explanation of how we structure our prize pools and monetize the game.
Prize Pool Contributions
Player Entry Fees: Each player contributes an equal amount of money as an entry fee to participate in a StreamStakes game. These fees collectively form the prize pool.
Prize Distribution and Company Revenue
Company Commission: StreamStakes takes a flat 20% commission from the total prize pool. This commission is our primary revenue source and supports the platform's operation and development.
Player Winnings: The remaining 80% of the prize pool is distributed among players who correctly pick all of the winning songs in their entry. These players split the prize pool equally.
Player Protection Policy
We are committed to ensuring that winning players never lose money:
Refunds for Excess Winning Fees: If the total amount of winning player entry fees exceeds 80% of the prize pool, StreamStakes will issue refunds to winning players. This ensures that no player who correctly picks all of the winning songs ends up with less money than their original entry fee.
Example Breakdown
Here is an example to illustrate how this works:
1. Prize Pool Formation: 100 players each contribute $10 as an entry fee, creating a total prize pool of $1,000.
2. Company Revenue: StreamStakes takes a 20% commission: $1,000 Ă— 20% = $200.
3. Player Winnings: The remaining 80% of the prize pool: $1,000 Ă— 80% = $800 is split among the winning players.
4. Player Winnings: If 95 of the 100 players win, their combined entry fees ($950) exceed the prize pool’s 80% allocation ($800). In this case, each winning player is refunded their entry fee so that they do not receive less than their original $10 contribution.
Keep in mind that this scenario is highly unlikely and nearly statistically impossible.
